Payroll Direct Deposit
SMART529 account owners now have the option of deducting money directly from your paycheck and deposited into your accounts. Your employer must support this feature so ask your human resources representative.
Getting Set Up- Download Payroll Direct Deduct Form to establish, change or delete payroll direct deposit instructions. Complete the form and mail it back to the address on the form. We will then send you a confirmation statement by mail that you must sign and submit to your employer's payroll department.
- Log in
to your SMART529 account and select Investment Management from the left hand navigation, then link to Payroll Direct Deposit and follow the instructions.
- You will be instructed to print out a confirmation statement that you must sign and submit to your employer's payroll department.
- $15 minimum deduction
- Contributions are paid with after tax dollars
